AX ODYCY Duo Win Gold at Chef’s Table Presentation 2025 in Croatia

We’re proud to share that Chef Andre Grima and Restaurant Manager Govind Singh have brought home the Gold Medal at the prestigious Chef’s Table competition, organised by the Association of Chefs from the Mediterranean and European Regions (ACMER/SKMER) and held in Croatia.
Representing AX ODYCY Hotel, the talented duo showcased not only culinary creativity but also exceptional teamwork and precision under pressure. The competition, which brought together top chefs and front-of-house professionals from across Europe, required a chef and waiter to work in perfect sync over a demanding three-hour challenge.
On the kitchen side, Chef Andre prepared a sophisticated four-course menu, plating five dishes for each course, with each course expertly paired with a different wine. With just one hour of prep and two hours of service, every second counted — and Andre delivered with flair and finesse.
Meanwhile, Govind set the stage front-of-house with elegance and professionalism. He had one hour to prepare a fine dining table setting for five guests, including wine and water service, followed by two hours of seamless service, presenting each course and ensuring a flawless dining experience.
This gold medal is a testament to the skill, passion, and dedication of our ODYCY team — and we couldn’t be prouder.
