A Delicious Triple Win: Minoa and Mamacita Shine at the Definitive(ly) Good Food Guide Awards!

At AX Hotels Qawra, we’re celebrating a fantastic triple win at this year’s Definitive(ly) Good Food Guide Awards! Both Minoa Mediterranean Fusion Restaurant and Mamacita Latino Bar proudly earned a spot among Malta’s Top 40 Restaurants, with Mamacita receiving the prestigious title of Best Newcomer.

The awards were presented at a dazzling gala dinner ceremony, organised by Restaurants Malta and held at the Xara Lodge on Monday 9th December, bringing together the island’s finest culinary talents. The Top 40 award-winning restaurants were selected based on their overall ratings, the volume of feedback received, comments, and additional data from the survey.

Representing AX Hotels Qawra at the event were General Manager Joseph Vella, Hotel Manager Andreas Dullnigg, F&B Manager Ivan Calleja, Executive Chef Paul Borg, and the talented service and kitchen teams from both restaurants, alongside members of the admin staff.

This recognition is a testament to the dedication, innovation, and passion that define Minoa and Mamacita. Whether it’s the refined Mediterranean fusion dishes at Minoa or the vibrant Latin flavours at Mamacita, both restaurants deliver unique dining experiences that continue to captivate guests.
