AX Hotels wins Responsible Tourism Development Award

AX Hotels is proud to share a moment of recognition that reflects both innovation in hospitality and the dedication of our people. At the Malta Tourism Authority Awards 2025, two key achievements stood out across our portfolio, alongside the acknowledgement of team members whose commitment continues to drive meaningful guest experiences.

Verdala Wellness Hotel has been honoured with the Responsible Tourism Development Award, just eight months since opening, recognising its contribution to Malta’s shift towards quality tourism.

Set in Rabat, Verdala Wellness Hotel represents a new approach to hospitality on the island. As Malta’s first fully integrated wellness hotel, it has been designed around a structured journey that supports wellbeing across every stage of the guest experience.

This concept is guided by five pillars including nutrition, movement, rest and recovery, emotional wellbeing, and community and connection. The aim is clear: to create a space where guests can reconnect, recharge, and experience a more balanced way of travelling.

The recognition highlights how Verdala contributes to responsible tourism through:

At Rosselli AX Privilege, we celebrate Sarah Anne Aquilina, Marketing Executive, who was awarded Runner Up for Tourism Worker of the Year (Accommodation under 75 rooms).

This recognition highlights Sarah’s contribution to shaping the identity and positioning of Rosselli – AX Privilege, a boutique luxury hotel in Valletta known for its refined and personalised guest experience.
