The Suites at AX Palazzo Capua

This suite is named after Prince Charles of Capua, The Bordon Prince of Capua who, together with his wife Penelope, took up residence at the Palace. The extravagant sitting area and the beautiful wooden staircase dominate the historic surroundings of this suite.

Prince Francesco Suite

Prince Francesco was the Prince and Princess’s first-born son born at AX Palazzo Capua and this suite is symbolically named after this royal figure. Similar to the other suites in this collection, this one-level suite is equipped with a king-size bed and a plasma screen television.

In the 1830s, Selma Hall is the name originally given to the Palace by Biagio Tagliaferro. The town’s name of Sliema is believed to have been the source of the name “Selma”. The Selma Suite is the perfect combination of luxury and sophistication.

Talgiaferro Suite

The Tagliaferro Suite is named after the Palazzo’s original landlord, Biagio Tagliaferro who was a prominent banker also accredited with the construction of this palatial villa. Historical detail is in this suite’s colour, texture and design. As soon as you step into this suite, you’ll forget that you’re living in the 21st century.

Princess Penelope Suite

Princess Penelope Suite

The story goes that the Prince of Capua eloped and married the beautiful Irish Penelope Smyth which caused him to be exiled by his brother King Ferdinand of the Two Sicilies. This suite is equipped with a Queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The unique décor is exquisitely designed with the greatest care to portray aesthetic and historical details.
